I’ve been dubbed the garden gnome, probably because of the beard but mainly because I’ve done four of these things. I have designed and built websites for garden clubs in Chicago, Piedmont and Houston but this was the first one, right here in Portland.

I also designed them a brand new logo because the one they had was a 50+ year old piece of clip art scanned from a book. I used pine trees to symbolize the Pacific Northwest but it also alludes to the skyscrapers in downtown Portland. And the dark forest green color reinforces that PNW vibe.
